Consumer FAQ's

Q: Which products does this recall apply to?

A: The following products which were sold in the US and Canada from October, 2010- March, 2012:

TWIST ’N SPARKLE STARTER SET
Models: 1005, 1005-12, 1005-BJ, 1005-QVC

TWIST ’N SPARKLE BOTTLE SET
Models: 1006-00, 1006-12

Q: I love my Twist ’n Sparkle. It seems to be working just fine. Must I return it?

A: Both the company and the Consumer Product Safety Commission require that you return the Twist ‘n Sparkle Home Carbonation System immediately. Please note that this recall applies to the starter set and any additional bottles you may have purchased. You will receive a refund or store credit for returned merchandise.

Instructions for returning to iSi:

  • Call the toll-free hotline at (800) 645-3595, 24 Hours/Day, 7 Days/Week to request a call tag be issued for pickup & return of your Twist ’n Sparkle product(s).
  • A UPS call tag will be issued to allow you to return the product to our warehouse at no charge to you. Once we receive the product, we will issue you a check by mail.
  • Please note that in order to be refunded the full purchase price, you must include your proof of purchase with the returned items.
  • Pack product securely in one box. There is no need for a label, UPS will bring it with them.
  • Expect UPS to pick up the package within 7 days.

Instructions for returning to original place of purchase:
Simply bring your Twist ’n Sparkle product back to its place of original purchase. When returning the product to the original place of purchase, you will be refunded or credited.

Instructions for items purchased at an online retailer:
Contact the online retailer for instructions.

Instructions for items received as a gift, or if the place of purchase is unknown:
Follow above instructions for returning directly to iSi.

Q: Do I need my original receipt? Or do I need the box it came in?

A: No, you do not need to return the box that the product came in. If you are returning to iSi, you must provide the receipt (or proof of purchase) in order to receive a full refund. If you are returning to the place of purchase with proof of purchase, you will be credited or refunded for the purchase price. Returns to retailer without a receipt will be handled on a case by case basis at the retailer’s discretion.

Q: Will I get a refund? Or will I get a store credit?”

A: Yes, you will receive EITHER store credit OR a refund.

Q: I received my Twist 'n Sparkle Home Carbonation system as a gift and so I have no idea which store it came from. Can I just take it to any store that sold the Twist ’n Sparkle?

A: No. In that case, please return it directly to iSi. We will issue a UPS call tag which will allow you to return the product to our warehouse at no charge to you. Once we receive the product, we will issue you a check by mail.

Q: I still have a big box of the chargers. I hear they are being recalled too. What is wrong with them?

A: There is nothing wrong with the chargers, however as a courtesy, you may return them to iSi for proper disposal. Please note that this does not affect any other chargers which you may have purchased for use with our other products.

Q: If I return a box of CO2 chargers or a bottle set will I get a refund?

A: If you return a bottle set or chargers, you will be refunded based on how many you return.

Q: I want to use my Twist ’n Sparkle Home Carbonation system one last time and then return it. Is there any precaution I should take?

A: We urge you not to use the Twist ’n Sparkle Home Carbonation System. This is for your protection. Please return it. It is for your own safety.

Q: When will a new, safer model be coming out?”

A: We do not know of any plans at this point for a new model. If a new model is introduced, we will be happy to notify you by email.

Q: Can I just throw my Twist ’n Sparkle away?

A: No – you must return it either to iSi or the original place of purchase
